Ed led a communication workshop with 17 education leaders striving to improve their skills during challenging times. The workshop focused on how the brain responds to specific social domains and the steps necessary to create rewarding experiences for better decisions.

Appointment - Independent Review Board (Feb 2020)

Ed was selected to serve a 3 year term with the International Coaching Federation’s (ICF) Independent Review Board (IRB), a global committee responsible for the growth and development of professional, ethical coaching. He officially begins these duties in April 2020, at which time he will complete a 2 year term serving on ICF’s Global Nomination Committee responsible for selecting Board of Director candidates.

Leadership Series: Seeing New Possibilities Through a Lens

Ed will be hosting a fun and interactive workshop leveraging aspects of neuroscience and photography, on Friday, October 11, 2019, exploring how:

  • our brains facilitate and disrupt our ability to be optimally aware,

  • existing and new frameworks impacting "seeing," and

  • a photographer’s mindset can allow us to gain new awareness and practical skills that can be applied immediately to challenges.

In an April 25 blog, Ed collaborated with Kristin Viera Zecca, Director, Executive Programs, MIT Sloan, and Dr. Tara Swart, neuroscientist, leadership coach, medical doctor, and author, to discuss professional coaching.

ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) Designation (Mar 2019)

The International Coach Federation (ICF) bestowed upon Ed the 2nd highest professional executive coach status based on the proficient demonstration of core coaching skills over a range of clients, in addition to continuing education focused on human development.

Selection to serve on ICF Global Nomination Committee (August 2018)

Ed has been selected to serve on the International Coach Federation (ICF) Global Nomination Committee responsible for determining candidates to serve on its Global Board of Directors.   Ed will be working with international colleagues to guide the development and succession of ICF board leadership. ICF is the gold standard for leadership and executive coaching.
